Former Joshua creatives Ross Garden and Russ Garn join GyroHSR as a senior creative team, whilst James Mountain and Hywel Thomas, formerly group heads at Proximity, join as senior art director and senior copywriter respectively.

The appointments come two months after former DraftFCB creative head Christoph Becker became chief creative officer.

Mountain and Thomas have worked together for more than 14 years at agencies including Proximity London, Publicis Dialog and EHS Brann. The pair will be in charge of the creative output for GyroHSR clients such as T-Mobile.

Garden and Garn’s combined experience includes time at Grey Worldwide, WCRS and M&C Saatchi before joining FCBi and going on to become group heads at Joshua. The duo will work on accounts including HP and New Zealand Lamb.

In April, Gyro announced its merger with US agency HSR. The combined agency has 17 offices in 15 cities across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
