
In April, Gyro announced its merger with US agency HSR to create a group with 17 offices in 15 cities across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Becker was most recently chairman and chief creative officer of the New York division of DraftFCB, and will take responsibility for GyroHSR creative across all its markets.

During Becker’s time at FCB the agency won business from brands including Diet Coke, Motorola and HP.
His work includes high profile campaigns such as Milk’s favourite cookie for Oreo and Above the influence for the US anti-drug campaign.
Before FCB, Becker worked at a number of agencies and countries, including Ogilvy & Mather in Spain and Bozell in Mexico.
Becker was appointed as President of the Dubai Lynx jury in 2008.
