Louis Vuitton gets added Scarlett Johansson glamour

LONDON - Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest ad campaign starring Scarlett Johansson, who is featured in a series of shots posing with the fashion label's newest luxury handbag range.

Johansson, who signed up for Louis Vuitton's 2007 spring range in December, joins fellow Hollywood actors Christina Ricci, Jennifer Lopez and Chloe Sevigny in endorsing the French label's apparel.

The campaign features Johansson in a series of images, in which she is shown reclining on furniture, wearing revealing dresses and holding various handbags from the Louis Vuitton range.

It is the second time that the label has used Johansson to front its advertising, having originally worked with her on a Marc Jacobs' photo shoot in 2004. The label has recently used former communist leader Mikhail Gorbachev and French actress Catherine Denueve in its campaigns.

Johansson, who starred in 'Match Point' and 'The Black Dahlia', also has deals with Reebok, Calvin Klein and L'Oreal, and is Louis Vuitton's replacement for Uma Thurman, who was dropped after one campaign for the LVMH-owned label.

Last month, the label used US photographer Annie Leibovitz to shoot ads featuring Gorbachev, in which the former Soviet premier was shown in brooding poses next to a Vuitton bag.
