The first new build Waldorf Astoria hotel outside of the United States. It is due to open early 2011 and will be located within the Syon House estate.

The 1,000sqm of facilities include the Grand Syon Ballroom that can host 450 theatre-style or be divided into three spaces. Outdoor areas include The Deck, a rooftop lounge for 26 seated or 64 standing, and ice-cream and coffee parlour Brownies, which can seat 32 with 40 more on the terrace. Other areas include restaurant The Capability that can hold 116 for a dinner, plus 40 in the Herb Garden.
