The industry event, which takes place at One Marylebone on 27 and 28 January, will feature talks on hospitality, team building and catering as part of its programme. Each talk will take place twice a day.

As part of a session called ‘Summer Food and Event Design’, panel chair Will Broome, chief executive of London Launch, will discuss the results of the company’s catering trends report with a number of industry professionals.

The panel will conist of Tom Barrett, managing director of Create Food and Party Design; Conrad Baker, chief executive of celebrity caterers Noble House Events; and general manager of Crowne Plaza Kensington, Edward Bracken.

The session will allow delegates to learn more about the latest trends, ideas and opportunities in catering for 2015, including the growing popularity of street food, the rise in special diets affecting set menu selection, and whether a three-course seated meal is a thing of the past.

Sam Gill, chief executive of Story Events, organiser of the London Summer Event Show, will be leading a session on the trends in team building, looking at whether these events should be competitive or collaborative, indoor or outdoor, physical or cerebral. He will be joined by Tim Shepley, managing director of Blue Hat Group, and Jonny Edser, managing director of Wildgoose.

Talking about the team building panel session, Gill said: "With two such experienced panelists, I look forward to a lively session, delivering the best advice on selecting the right event for any team building brief. In my experience, many clients do not give sufficient time and thought to defining their objectives and desired outcomes from team building, so we will be also discussing how buyers can help maximise value from these events."

Gill also told Event that more than 300 individuals have already registered to attend the speaker sessions at the 2015 London Summer Event Show, and visitor pre-registrations are now up 20% on last year’s London Christmas Party Show, which took place at Banking Hall in London on 10 and 11 June.

The 2015 edition of the London Christmas Party Show is due to take place at Victoria House on 2 and 3 June. Event magazine is the official media partner for both the London Christmas Party Show and the London Summer Event Show.
