The event made its debut this month, taking place at London’s Banking Hall on 10 and 11 June, and welcomed more than 630 pre-qualified guests across the two days.

Sarah Kay, managing director of Story Events, told Event: "We are currently reviewing our shortlisted venues, site visiting again and deciding on which will best fit our requirements. Our aim is to always showcase a new venue or to showcase an existing venue differently."

She added that due to demand, the next edition of the London Christmas Party Show will increase in size, but will keep its small, bespoke feel.

"In response to visitor feedback we are looking to broaden the range of exhibitors, especially entertainment and theming suppliers and also have a few smaller venues," Kay explained. "We felt that the format worked well this year and we received fantastic feedback from exhibitors and visitors, so I am sure we will mix things up slightly but no doubt there will still be that festive feel to the event."

Sam Gill, chief executive of Story Events, added: "Our focus from the outset was to deliver a high-quality audience to our founder exhibitors via a targeted marketing campaign, supported by a dedicated pre-qualification team who were able to recommend exhibitor meetings to all corporate visitors, based on their stated party requirements.

"Feedback from visitors has also been excellent, with 88% of visitors rating the show ‘very good’ or ‘good’ against six key metrics, and 99% of over 200 respondents said they are planning to attend the 2015 show. We are currently researching venues for our 2015 show and will be announcing our plans in the next few weeks."

The inaugural London Christmas Party Show opened on Tuesday 10 June with an , featuring a Champagne reception and canapés as well as entertainment, a prize draw and 45 exhibitors showcasing their services.

The exhibition continued on day two of the event, as well as a speaker programme featuring talks from industry experts.
