Logitech pushes cordless keyboards with balancing game

LONDON - Inbox Digital has unveiled a viral online campaign to support Logitech's cordless desktop keyboards, which will involve a series of viral games designed to showcase the product's capabilities.

The agency, appointed by Logitech earlier in the year to develop a six-month European digital and communications campaign, has created three online viral games to promote Logitech's cordless keyboards and desktop products.

The first viral , 'Ball Balancer', challenges the player to use their mouse to navigate a ball through 50 levels of missiles, bonus points and extra lives.

Players of 'Ball Balancer' can click through to the Explore Cordless , where they can find out about the Logitech Cordless Desktop range and enter a prize draw to win €1,000 worth of merchandise.

Two more games will be released as the campaign progresses, but exact details are not available at present.

Garreth Hayes, European product manager at Logitech, said: "Inbox Digital has brought together superb thinking and creativity to capture behavioural data that will allow us to engage our target audiences in a meaningful dialogue through timely, targeted communications.

Hayes added that 'Ball Balancer' was designed to encourage its target audience to find out how Logitech Desktop Cordless keyboards can enhance their software experience.

Inbox Digital said 'Ball Balancer' would be supported by coverage in Logitech's December newsletter, via the Logitech , and banners featuring on the website from January.
