The book will present the newest and most inspiring typography created globally, showcasing 1,000 of the most contemporary type details from packaging to posters.
The book features flyers, leaflets, books, magazines, logos, stationery, brochures, posters and banners, outdoor and digital.
Loewy said that the idea of the book is to inspire designers with unique typography ideas from all over the world.
Paul Burgess, Loewy creative director, said: "'1,000 Type Treatments' is brimming with incredible typographic ideas. Our intention was to showcase unique typography, unusual combinations, fantastic fonts and smart executions."
Burgess, who oversaw the global call for entries and headed up the team, said the group has seen the reappearance of more freeform calligraphic approaches to typography, with Yomar Augusto in Brazil and Denis Delude in Canada among many agencies breaking away from the constraints of computers.
Kirstin Ellison, acquisitions editor at Rockfort Publishers, said: "The guys at Loewy have yet again transformed the way design reference books are put together.
"They have unearthed the most incredible typography from every corner in the world and compiled what is set to become another classic design title and another bestseller."
The 320-page '1,000 Type Treatments' is available from book stores from July 2005, priced 拢27.50.
