Loewy appoints head of marketing to pursue new opportunities

LONDON - Recently expanded branding consultancy Loewy Group has recruited Lucy Mann as head of marketing from design agency Carter Wong Tomlin.

By raising Loewy's profile among the client-side community, Mann is tasked with developing new business for the group, which recently acquired ad agency Cortexx, retail catalogue and production specialist Parker Baines and sales promotion agency Spring.

Mann possesses 15 years' experience of new-business lead generation for marketing services agencies. She also has experience of marketing recruitment, having worked at Read Carroll (subsequently merged into Hays) and set up Jigsaw Marketing Recruitment in 1999.

Charlie Hoult, Loewy Group CEO, said: "This is the year of opportunity for Loewy. Our client list is bursting with great blue-chip names and we aim to get more of these on board fast. Lucy is brimming over with energy and enthusiasm, which together with her experience and perceptiveness, will deliver exactly the results we need."

Loewy's client list includes Nestle, Kimberly-Clark, Eurostar, Lastminute.com and AOL.
