The proposed deals for companies in the design and PR sectors will see Loewy's turnover increase from £32m to £47m. In recent months, Loewy has acquired design agency Williams Murray Hamm and communications consultancy The Team.

Charlie Hoult, Loewy CEO, said, "Our ambition has always been to build a group that has creative integrity as well as the scale to work with the world's leading brands. Given VSS's sector experience, we're sure the deal will help build our momentum."

VSS is a specialist in the media and communications sector, previously investing in satellite broadcaster the Chart Show Group and US publisher Red 7 Media among others. The investor will receive a seat on Loewy's board of directors as part of the deal.
