Lloyds TSB signs £100,000-plus media deal with Tiscali

LONDON - Lloyds TSB General Insurance has boosted its relationship with Tiscali by sealing a media sales deal with worth more than £100,000.

Under the deal, which runs from now until the end of the year, Lloyds TSB will sponsor the motoring and property sections of Tiscali's UK site.

"We are five months into one deal with Lloyds TSB Insurance and it has committed to a further major media deal with us," Alex Hole, the commercial director at Tiscali UK, said.

"It shows how content and commerce can work well together -- we can produce a feature that is compelling and draw our users into something more concrete on the back of what works for the brand."

Lloyds TSB will have editorial slots on and run competitions with the portal to get renewal data from users.

Nils Kirk, the head of e-commerce at Lloyds TSB Insurance, said: "We have an excellent partnership with Tiscali, which we hope to strengthen with this activity. This campaign will enable us to enhance our profile with Tiscali's customers."
