Live-action leprechaun brings good fortune in Lucky Charms spots

Can breakfast cereal with marshmallows enhance your performance? If you're lucky, says Saatchi & Saatchi NY says

Since 1963, Lucky Charms commercials have featured Lucky the Leprechaun, also known as Sir Charms, as the brand’s animated mascot, always trying to protect his marshmallow cereal. But General Mills broke with tradition in March with "Adopt a Leprechaun," the cereal brand’s first ad to feature a live-action leprechaun. Now, the grown man appears again in two new 30-second ads— "Pole Vaulter" and "Reality TV"—bringing luck to an athlete and reality show contestant. The spots, created by Saatchi & Saatchi New York, were directed by Josh+Vince, founding members of CollegeHumor Originals, and will appear online.
