Listening Company makes senior appointment to sales division

LONDON - Call centre group The Listening Company has appointed James Wetton as sales director.

Wetton joins from telemarketing agency Pell & Bales where he was new business development director. Prior to that he worked at Sitel and Telecom Express, as well as a previous stint at The Listening Company. Between 2000 and 2003, Wetton was a new business executive at The Listening Company.

In his new role, Wetton will head up the sales division at its headquarters in Richmond and will be responsible for providing strategic direction as well launching several new products and services into the market. 

Neville Upton, CEO of The Listening Company, said: "James has a great understanding of our business and the market place and will be able to provide us with a clear strategic direction by which we can move the company's sales proposition forward.

"Despite our impressive growth and unparalleled client list, we are still one of the best kept secrets in the customer insight market and I have tasked James with rectifying this."
