The agency has worked with the games console brand for seven consecutive years, working on product launches for games such as Gran Turismo, Unchartered, Driveclub and Destiny, as well hardware launches of the PS Vita at PS4.

Lightblue has also conceptualised and created PlayStation activity for Middle East gaming expo, Games, for the last five years.

David Balfour, creative and managing partner for Lightblue, said: "PlayStation have a whole host of very exciting and active offerings and it’s necessary that their launches are just as appealing, memorable and experiential."

May El Husseiny, head of marketing, Sony PlayStation Middle East, added: "Lightblue has made sure that the PlayStation brand has grown exponentially with their dedicated marketing tools and techniques. They always have the latest technological offerings too, such as our Insta-Vending Machine, which was the first of it’s kind in the region and was one of the most talked about concepts at Games 14 exhibition this year."

Lightblue, which is based in Glasgow, Dubai and Cape Town, also counts Budweiser, Adidas, Oreo and Nestlé among its clients.
