LONDON - Stardoll Network, the youth-oriented social networking website, has appointed Yvette Lee agency sales manager.

Stardoll Network was formed after the merger in March of Stardoll, teen-focused social network Piczo and Paperdollheaven.com, a site targeting a younger, female demographic.

Lee will report to Stardoll Network's UK commercial director, Stephen Molloy, and will lead a team of four.

Previously, Lee was senior account manager at Specific Media and before that was account executive at Mindshare Interaction.

Last month, Stardoll brought its UK and European ad sales in-house following the merger with Paperdollheaven and Piczo, ending its partnerships with Unanimis and Microsoft Advertising.

The three sites in the Stardoll Network target the so-called "tween" and teen age groups - those aged between five and 20. The enlarged portal claims to reach 20 million users a month globally.

Stardoll Network is led by Chris Seth, executive vice-president of international advertising and general manager of the combined UK operation.
