KLM recruits new creative director

LONDON - Birmingham-based agency KLM has recruited Gary Setchell as its creative director.

Setchell joins from McCann-Erickson Birmingham, leaving his role as creative group head on several accounts including Harley-Davidson and The Open University.

KLM chairman Jon Derry said: “For some time we have been looking for a creative talent to help take our product to the next level. We’re confident we have found the right person in Gary.”

The agency works with clients including Diageo, Sky TV, Alton Towers and Britvic. Commenting on his new position, Setchell said: “I know my passion and experience will complement KLM’s hard-earned reputation for delivering results.”

Andy Sylvester, the former creative director at KLM will remain with the company in a part time copywriting role, reporting to Setchell.
