Kitcatt Nohr appoints Yates as senior planner

LONDON - Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw has appointed CHI & Partners' David Yates to the role of senior planner.

Yates will be part of the Kitcatt Nohr planning team, headed by planning director Richard Madden, and will be working on the Lexus and John Lewis accounts among others.

Yates joins from CHI & Partners where he was an account planner for two years, working on a number of major client accounts including Waterstone's, Anchor, RBS and Typhoo.

As part of the Waterstone's pitch team at CHI he developed the "Discover something new at Waterstone's" idea, which won the pitch and was recently used in an integrated campaign.

Yates also collaborated on Anchor's recent "Free-range butter company" re-positioning campaign.

Prior to working at CHI, Yates worked at Tequila/London. He started out as a graduate trainee planner at TBWA\GGT working on accounts including PruHealth and its UK launch of Private Medical Insurance for which he planned an integrated campaign.

Yates said: "Kitcatt Nohr has long been an agency I've admired so I'm looking forward to getting started and hopefully working on some ground-breaking integrated campaigns."

Richard Madden, planning director at Kitcatt Nohr, said: "[David's] considerable experience of integrated planning across the financial services, FMCG and retail sectors will make him a great source of insight for our clients."
