Baker, who has been a board member of ISES for the last five years. will lead an 18-strong board, the largest to date and a signal of the growing influence and ambition of the association. She will take over from current UK president Jane Hague, head of corporate account development at Excel.

"The board this year could not be more impressive for an incoming president. We have many of the faces that supported us last year, with some fresh eyes that I know will keep the association in its current successful trajectory."
New to the board this year will be Peter Kerwood from SocialSuperstore as director of marketing and communications; Jacqui Partridge from Partridge Events as director of programmes; Jan Booth from Sunbaba, as director of exhibitions; Graham Brown from Plaster as head of PR; and Mary Baird Wilcox as director of finance, joining from the ISES US chapter.
