Kellogg launches social auction site for Krave

LONDON - Kellogg is launching a social media auctioning site in support of its teenage cereal brand Krave, which rewards people for talking about the product.

The site, called Krave Choc Exchange, launches today (Monday) in conjunction with Facebook. Krave went live with its official Facebook page last week.

Krave Choc Exchange will be a competition portal where participants can bid for prizes using chocolate chunks.

Users can acquire chocolate chunks by doing a variety of things including uploading photographs of Krave, or changing their status to be about Krave.

The more chocolate chunks they can acquire the more they can bid for prizes including festival tickets, iTunes vouchers and drum kits.

Kellogg is supporting the Krave Choc Exchange, accessed by visiting , with digital marketing spend.

Krave is the first cereal launched by Kellogg in the UK that specifically targets the young adult market.
