Kadence's green credentials recognised in Sunday Times survey

LONDON - Kadence is the only market research company to feature on the Sunday Times list of the 60 Best Green Companies, which rewards companies which reduce their environmental impact.

Kadence won praise from the survey for efforts such as establishing a "green" committee made up of representatives from all departments, making the environment a separate agenda item at monthly departmental meetings and the quarterly board meeting, and considering the environmental impact of all purchasing decisions.

The company placed 46th in the survey, which was topped by London-based marketing, PR and design company Forster.

Kadence's other small changes, said The Sunday Times, included making notepads from waste paper, using low-energy search engine Blackle and conducting quarterly internal staff surveys to monitor green attitudes and track behavioural change over time.

Kieron Mathews, UK managing director at Kadence, said: "Kadence's team is eager to build on this success and develop its green company culture even further."
