Kadence hires Simon Braier to lead qualitative research

LONDON - Business research agency Kadence has announced the appointment of Simon Braier as its new qualitative research director.

Braier joins from a senior account manager role at TW Research, the London-based firm that provides analysis work for publishers, broadcasters and advertisers including the BBC, ITN and Publicis.

In his new job, he will oversee all of Kadence's qualitative work in the group's London office.

The company, which also has bases in Boston, Singapore, Jakarta, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney, has provided B2B market research for clients including BSkyB, Bosch and Audi.

The Kadence Group chairman, Simon Everard, said Braier was "a great acquisition to our team".

Everard said: "His specialist expertise will help reinforce the value of Kadence’s qualitative offering in our global markets."

Braier's appointment comes as Kadence prepares to expand its presence in Asia.

It has confirmed it is pressing ahead with plans to open a second China officer later this year in Shanghai. Kadence already has a base in Hong Kong.
