Kadence Group posts 18% increase in global revenue

LONDON - Kadence Group, the global business research specialist, has posted an 18% rise in annual global revenue to $9.3m on the back of an expanded presence in Asia.

The group has offices in Boston, London, Delhi, Singapore, and Sydney, with new offices opened last year in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.

The group's UK business performed well, delivering an 18% increase on turnover in 2006, while Kadence USA reported a 28% rise.

It was also a strong year in Asia, with all regional offices reporting growth. The group is planning to increased its foothold in Asia next year, with new offices scheduled to open in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Simon Everard, chief executive of the Kadence Group, said: "We have won some significant new business throughout the past 12 months on the strength of our international reach and experience in conducting and delivering global research projects.

"With so many more companies and organisations now looking to talk to global audiences, successful market research firms have to offer the full package."

He added: "Another key factor in Kadence's growth over the past 12 months has been the upwards demand among business-to-business clients for market insight, as opposed to pure data."
