Johnson brings in new faces in Data Locator restructure

LONDON – Two new arrivals have joined the senior management team at Data Locator and the business has been reorganised in order to sustain growth and increase profitability.

A new group board has been formed and the business arranged into three core areas -- operations, finance and sales.

Founder Simon Johnson is now group chairman and managing director, and has handed over responsibility for driving sales to Jeremy Whitaker, who joins as group chief executive officer.

Whitaker was previously European president and managing director of marketing services at EHS Brann.

Another new arrival is Peter Leefe, chief financial officer and company secretary. Leefe has been a financial consultant for the last five years, standing as a finance director for a number of companies, including MindShare Media UK, Landor Associates and Dorling Kindersley.

The final board member is John Dunne, who has been promoted internally from the position of deputy managing director to chief operating officer.

Johnson said: "Jeremy and Peter both bring with them a wealth of knowledge and will be instrumental in developing the business further."
