Jerman replaced as MD of Cheeze by O'Brien

LONDON - Katherine Jerman, founder and managing director of digital agency Cheeze, is to step down and will be replaced by client services director Matt O'Brien.

Jerman will take a six-month sabbatical with the intention of returning to the agency as a founding partner and consultant.

She established the agency, which has offices in Ipswich and London, in 1999, with O'Brien joining as media account manager the following year.

O'Brien will report to Ben Langdon, chief executive of Cheeze's parent company, Digital Marketing Group.

Other promotions at the agency include Jenny Stollery, who has been promoted from group head of advertising to associate director.

In May, Canterbury, the rugby brand, appointed Cheeze to handle its online media activity ahead of a major advertising drive.
