Jennifer Lopez to perform at Fifa World Cup 2014 opening ceremony

The opening ceremony for World Cup 2014, which takes place today ahead of the kick-off tonight, will feature Jennifer Lopez performing alongside rapper Pitbull, as well as showcasing acrobatics, music and dance.

The ceremony is being held during the daytime at the 68,000-seat New Corinthians Stadium in São Paulo.  

The 25-minute flamboyant spectacle will feature more than 600 dancers, gymnasts, trampolinists and stilt walkers, performing alongside a 'living' LED (light-emitting diode) ball.

The ceremony will feature the capoeira, a Brazilian martial art combined with dance and music and Brazilian.  

Lopez will perform the song We Are One (Ole Ola), alongside Pitbull and Brazilian signer Claudia Leitte.
