Participating fans will ride in a Hyundai ix35, also known as the ‘World Cup Taxi’, as part of the activity. Maya Jama and Tom Deacon from Copa90 will be travelling around the South American country to discover the best fans, parties and football stories.
For fans looking to travel somewhere during their time in Brazil, they can tweet the brand’s dedicated Twitter handle @Hyundai_UK or @Copa90 with the hashtag #WorldCupTaxi for a chance to grab a free ride.
The activity forms part of Hyundai’s Maya’s World Cup City Guides video series of guides to all 12 Fifa World Cup host cities. Hyundai and Copa90 challenged model and presenter Jama to visit all 12 match cities in 32 days for the duration of the tournament to learn more about Brazil’s people, culture, passion and why football means so much to the nation.
The guides are being made available to view on the Copa90 YouTube channel.
Andrew Cullis, marketing director at Hyundai UK, said: "Our partnership with Copa 90 has given us the opportunity to bring some of the passion and excitement of the World Cup to fans across the UK and beyond and to engage with a younger more online-focused audience. To date, the films have received over 1.1 million views and this is growing daily."
