Bar on a Bike, a vintage tricycle upcycled into a quirky bar for corporate events, will launch at food festival Feast in Battersea, London, this month (15 - 17 August). It will be serving the brand’s jelly beans alongside a range of cocktails and long drinks, including Vimto Mojitos and coconut jelly beans.
Victoria Barclay, head of public relations at Jelly Belly UK, told Event: "Bar on a Bike is a young, enterprising company which has done a lot of research into how you can maximise and enjoy a cocktail. We were really impressed with their approach and understanding of the brand."
She added that while Jelly Belly UK is not having its own stand at Feast, should its presence with Bar on a Bike go well, the brand will consider appearing at future food events. "Foodie festivals are a natural fit for us," she said.
Simon Badham, co-founder of Bar on a Bike, said: "I’ve always had a passion for designing things and Bar on a Bike gives us the opportunity to do a little bit of what we love doing best.
"There is a huge market out there for new and innovative event ideas and we hope that our bar will make its way into weddings, corporate events and various other festivals throughout the UK."
