
‘Marchlands’, which revealed more clues about young Alice's mysterious past, had a 22.8% share of the available audience between 9pm and 10pm. A further 250,100 watched the show on ITV1 +1.
‘MasterChef’, which saw the remaining 12 contestants cooking for the show's previous finalists and winners, attracted an average audience of 4.78 million viewers between 9pm and 10pm on BBC One and BBC One HD, a 19.3% share.
On BBC Two and BBC HD ‘The Spice Trail’, the second of a three-part documentary looking into the story of spices and presented by Kate Humble, managed an audience of 1.98 million, an 8% share of the available audience.
‘10 O’Clock Live’, the current affairs show on channel 4 starring David Mitchell and Charlie Brooker, had an average audience of 805,100 viewers between 10pm and 11pm, a 4.3% share of the audience and up from 764,000 viewers last week.
A further 99,400 viewers watched ‘10 O’Clock Live’ on Channel 4+1, bringing its total audience to 904,500.
