Jassies, who joins as an account director, will work with Jane Carroll from MediaVest and Alex Plumb from McCann Erickson, who were hired last week.
The three join a team headed by Justin Sampson, the director of customer relationship marketing.
Sampson said:"Maria-Isabel is another valuable addition. Our ambition is to develop stronger relationships with advertisers and, to achieve this, we must harness account direction skills, which have been developed on the customer side, with our experience of talking about the strength of television."
Jassies was an account director at MindShare and her main account was Kellogg. Before that she spent four years at Zenith Optimedia.
ITV also announced that is to be a founding partner of the IPA Touch Points Survey, which aims to investigate cross-media consumption patterns.
The first data from the consumer-centric survey will be published in next spring.
Sampson added: "We are confident the study will communicate the continuing importance of TV in the UK's media diet. We are investing alongside our customers so we can engage the advertising industry in the power of television."
