ITV Sales appoints two to bolster advertiser relations

LONDON - Justin Sampson, the director of customer relationship marketing at ITV Sales, has made two new appointments to his advertiser relationships team, following the departure of Mark Butterfield.

Buterfield, the head of advertiser relationships and a long-standing ITV employee, left the company last week without a job to go to.

Alex Plumb, an account director from McCann Erickson, and Jane Carroll, an account director from MediaCom, join the team. Plumb has more than 10 years' experience working on brands in the pharmaceutical, alcohol and haircare sectors, while Carroll has experience of the confectionary sector.

Sampson said: "Looking forward, we recognise that we need to find a new body language in our dealings with customers. The advertiser relationships team is important in ensuring our dialogue with advertisers is more than a presentation."
