The work, which was created by VCCP, launched on Sunday (1 November) with a 60-second ad that aired in the evening, during The X Factor on ITV.
The spot features the debut single, Sax, by Fleur East, who was last year's runner-up. The single is featured on the ad ahead of its 6 November release.
The supermarket teased the ad throughout the day of 1 November with five-second spots across most major channels. The TV spot will be shown in cinemas and is backed by outdoor and digital executions.
As Christmas draws nearer, Asda will air shorter ads on TV that draw attention to specific products lines, such as the supermarket's Star Wars costumes and festive desserts.

A 10-second clip of the moon aired during ITV's X Factor last night according to Twitter users. The #OnTheMoon hashtag and the Twitter profile launched yesterday afternoon.
The 2015 John Lewis Christmas ad is expected to be revealed online at 8am on Friday 6 November.
Sources told Marketing the spot would feature a boy visiting a man on the moon, although John Lewis said it would not feature space or the moon when we put it to them last week.
As Marketing revealed, , which fits with an other-worldy theme. However, it is understood a number of tracks were also under consideration.

On social: Lidl launches Christmas ad focusing on the humour of festive etiquette

The spot by TBWA\London does not feature the Lidl Surprises strapline and introduces the #SchoolOfChristmas. It broke first on social media the morning of Sunday 1 November and aired on TV later that day.

The Lidl School of Christmas offers festive tips and ideas including how to light a Christmas pudding and, most importantly, how to pretend to like ill-fitting presents. The ad explains the store has "every Lidl thing for Christmas".
For the first time, Lidl has premiered the campaign on social media in what it says is a "festive gesture of thanks" for the loyalty offered by "Lidlers".
The brand has also launched a virtual School of Christmas across social and digital channels, with extra "lessons" and tips from the Michelin star awarded Kevin Love.

The British fashion brand has launched a Snapchat story version of its Christmas handbook, two days before it hits stores.
The story mostly scrolls through pages from the catalogue, adding a few tailored messages and the occasional video clip of models frolicking. Here are a few screenshots we took.

While we like reaching the Snapchat audience through a story, the use of static designed pages from the handbook feels like an opportunity missed, especially when compared to the videos, Gifs, interactive messages and games publishers and Snapchat are pushing out.
