Black Sheep Studios, Bartle Bogle Hegarty’s in-house production studio, created the online ad, which is set in a Tesco supermarket and filmed with hidden cameras.
In addition to the prankvertising lead film, Tesco’s Halloween campaign includes four instructional online videos that demonstrate how to create scary costumes.
The new work was created by Kate Murphy at BBH and directed by Dave Stoddart through Black Sheep Studios. So they're the ones to blame for the lack of eggings.

So which seeks to debunk 12 myths that will shape brands’ festive marketing, is right on time.
It's found that early Christmas ad campaigns run into fatigue by mid-December. Ads that premiere in the first week of November enjoy a "love" peak in mid-November, but fatigue by mid-December.
It also debunks the assumption that millennials do all their Christmas shopping online. The survey found 51% of 16- to 24-year-olds enjoy Christmas gift shopping with other people. This percentage declines among older age groups.

Latest ads: Apple brings in Jamie Foxx for iPhone 6s ads
Apple has signed up a bevy of celebrities to push its new iPhone 6s, this week , Marketing's Shona Ghosh reports.
The singer and actor stars in two spots that demonstrate hands-free Siri, a new function introduced with the iPhone 6s.
In the first spot, Foxx's iPhone 6s lies in front of him as he puts on his tie. With perhaps unintentional pathos, he asks Siri how he looks before the device gives a flirtatious response.

While Ross can see the thinking behind creating a character for an abstract concept, he thinks the idea should have been taken further. "The creators shouldn’t have stopped the character development at the visual stage. [...] The right voice and diligence in character development might have allowed Workie to tackle an issue as complex and confusing as pensions, regardless of appearance."
Ross goes on to make an observation about that other popular character:
Aleksandr the Meerkat is memorable not just because he’s a meerkat, but because he’s a strange Russian meerkat with nuances of Terry Thomas and Roger Moore. Few people understand successful character creation and writing as well as Darren Bailes, which is why Aleksandr made it into the nation’s affections.
