ITN On will produce more than 200 pieces of original content from now until January, which will include features on cooking, toys, pantomimes and the meaning of Christmas.
The Jerusalem Trust and Jerusalem Production, which are part of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts, are supporting ITV On in the venture.
The channel will feature "how to" guides on Christmas decorating and wrapping, as well as toy reviews conducted by children and festive-themed programming around ITN On's existing content.
In addition, the site will carry original television content made available by Jerusalem Productions shown online for the first time. This will include one-off animation Xmas Files first screen on Five in 1999 and children's animation A Small Miracle first broadcast on ITV in 2002.
ITN On already has six channels on YouTube, covering news, music, books, video gaming, showbusiness and extreme content, attracting an average of 25 million views a month.
The commercial director of ITN On, Mark Browning, said through the collaboration with Jerusalem Production it is looking forward to generating "millions of views" with the set of Christmas content.
Bridget Cass, director of Jerusalem Productions, describes the collaboration as a "really exciting development" for the broadcast production company, which aims to promote understanding and knowledge of the Christian religion.
