The video content will be available on YouTube from this week and will feature celebrity news from around the world, packaged by a dedicated German producer at ITN.
The banner, pre-roll and rollover ads on the channel will be sold by Google, in the same way as ITN's six other YouTube channels, and all revenue will be shared between ITN and Google.
Mark Browning, commercial director of ITN, said the channel was an example of ITN adapting an already successful product for a new territory. He said ITN had the capability to "create, localise and tailor our content to work in any market and on any platform".
ITN's six YouTube channels cover news, showbiz, music, books, video gaming and fun content. Jeff Nathenson, partnerships manager at YouTube, said ITN had been one of YouTube's "more successful partners from Europe".
Nathenson added that ITN had shown its "creativity and understanding of the platform, by developing a German language entertainment news channel".
An ITN spokesman said its channels attracted a combined average of 25 million views every month.
