Ipsos opens Seattle office for cross-discipline research

LONDON – Market research giant Ipsos is opening a new office in Seattle to deliver advertising, marketing and customer loyalty research to clients in the Pacific Northwest region.

The Seattle office will be headed by Natalie Lacey, former senior vice-president of Ipsos Public Affairs.

It joins Ipsos' West Coast operations in San Francisco, San Ramon and Vancouver and officially opens on September 19.

Seperately, Ipsos has appointed two market research industry veterans to bolster the company's public affairs unit in the US and around the world.

Tom Miller, a former board member and managing director of RoperStarch Worldwide (now GfK NOP) for 20 years, has been appointed as regional senior vice-president and managing director of Ipsos Public Affairs.

Nicholas Boyon has been appointed as senior vice-president of Ipsos Public Affairs. Previously, he worked for Roper in New York for 12 years where he headed the company's international custom reseach division. He also spent 10 years with Sofres, now TNS, in Paris. Both will be based in Ipsos' New York office.
