The company, which announced in January that it was planning to operate under two regional divisions, North America West and North America East, said it wished to provide additional senior level support for its clients by expanding its management team.
Koval, who joined Ipsos ASI in July 2002, will become senior vice-president of the US western region's copy testing business. Ipsos ASI said her "tremendous dedication" in meeting and exceeding client needs made her an ideal candidate for promotion.
Her counterpart will be Fred Marshall, who will become senior vice-president of the US eastern region's copy testing business. Marshall also joined Ipsos ASI in July 2002, as vice-president of copy testing, and has been instrumental in expanding regional business.
Mike Weisberger has been made senior vice-president of the US eastern region for the tracking and equity business. He transfers from the company's behavioural tracking division, and has more than 20 years' experience with consumer data analysis.
Finally, Steve Wynn has been promoted to senior vice-president for the Cincinnati office. Wynn joined Ipsos ASI in December 2001 as vice-president of copy testing, and is credited for significantly expanding the company's client growth.
