IPC Southbank appoints Associated's Restall for agency sales role

LONDON – IPC's women's lifestyle and home interest division IPC Southbank has poached Jon Restall, Associated Newspapers brand manager, to fill the newly created role of agency sales director in its advertising team.

The role has been created following a restructure of advertising that has also put in place central teams for luxury clients and agencies.

At IPC, Restall will report to Mark Reen, group advertisement director, and will oversee all mainstream agency sales and negotiation for titles including Marie Claire, In Style, Ideal Home and Woman & Home.

Reen said: "This is a high-profile role and Jon was the perfect candidate to take South Bank's agency sales on to the next level."

Restall was at Associated for five years rising from sales executive to brand manager, where he was in charge of agency sales and the financial sales team.
