IPC Media adds further titles to Lloyd James portfolio

LONDON - IPC Media is to add a further six consumer interest titles to its list rental portfolio to target those with niche interests and hobbies.

The new lists include photography file, with 11,928 names; a motoring enthusiasts file, which has 20,133; 18,264 caravan enthusiasts; a hobbies and special interests file with 18,904 names; a technology file of 47,434 names; and a donor magazine subscriber file with 80,999 people on the list.

The IPC portfolio, managed by Lloyd James List and Media Management, is made up of magazine subscribers, mail order buyers, event attendees and competition entrants. The exception is the donor magazine file, which is made up of respondents who have purchased a subscription to one or more of IPC consumer magazines as a gift.

The photography, motoring, hobbies and technology files all show a strong male bias. The caravan enthusiast's list is 60:40 bias towards males, but the donor file is predominantly female (73%).

All files are updated on a monthly basis. Selections include recency, gender, geography and payment method.

Jacqui Sharman, director at Lloyd James List and Media Management, said: "We believe that these new lists will be particularly valuable for those wanting to target individuals with niche interests and hobbies."

Lloyd James also holds many other IPC files including women's weeklies, sports fans, country pursuits, homes and interiors, marine file and gardening file.
