IPC launches Downloaded guide for online music lovers

LONDON - Web User, the IPC Country & Leisure specialist internet magazine, has launched a digital publication called Downloaded that lists the best downloads available on the web.

Downloaded is produced by the Web User editorial team and provides clickable links to new-release music, films, TV and games downloads. Readers will be able to click straight to the sites using the links provided.

Richard Clark, editor of Web User, said: "For some time, we have been aware that there will be a need for a listings guide to let people know when downloads from the web become available, where to get them and how much they cost."

He added: "This is just a toe in the water for us. In time, we hope to expand Downloaded, adding more pages as more downloads become available. With the recent high-profile launches of Napster and iTunes among other music services, and the announcement this week of an official download music chart starting in September, the time seems right for us to start engaging the interest of the early adopter."
