It will also plug the gap left in IPC's homes and interest division by the closure of Homes & Ideas last November, along with a raft of other magazines and exhibitions.
Creating Beautiful Homes aims to show readers how to mix old and new styles to create a traditional and stylish family home.
The title, which boosts IPC's large home-interest division, will sit alongside its affluent homes titles 25 Beautiful Homes, 25 Beautiful Gardens and 25 Beautiful Kitchens.
Yvonne Ramsden, publishing director of IPC Southbank, said: "The launch of Creating Beautiful Homes perfectly captures the spirit of an emerging group of consumers who are rejecting pure modern style and re-embracing traditional values, both in their lifestyle and their homes."
She added: "Our research identified a demand in the market for a magazine that gives readers the practical information they need to renovate and decorate their homes in a comfortable, classic style that will stand the test of time."
The first issue goes on sale on February 7, priced £2.75. The title is to be edited by Sara Pates, who joins from Ideal Homes where she was art director.
