IPC appoints Marie Claire's Kelly to home interest publisher role

LONDON - IPC SouthBank has promoted Marie Claire managing editor Chris Kelly to the role of publisher at its home interest group.

Kelly, who takes up his new role overseeing magazines such as 25 Beautiful Homes, Country Homes & Interiors and Ideal Home in August, will report into Yvonne Ramsden, publishing director of the group.

Ramsden said:  "His experience at Marie Claire and commercial knowledge will prove an invaluable asset to the home interest group."

Prior to joining Marie Claire, where he has been managing editor since January 2003, Kelly was financial controller at Cabal Communications.

Kelly added: "As much as I've enjoyed being part of the fabulous team on Marie Claire, I am really looking forward to the challenges of working with IPC's fantastic portfolio of home interest titles."
