She joins from IPC Connect, where she was assistant publisher if the fortnightly girls' title Mizz. Before this, Bushell was senior circulation executive for the Connect portfolio at Marketforce, where she joined in 1999.
Sarah Summers, publishing director of In Style, Wedding & Home and Hair, said: "I have worked with Lynsey for several years and know she will be a great asset to the South Bank publishing team. Her primary role will be on Wedding & Home and Hair, where she will provide a particular focus to these two special interest brands. She will also support me on In Style and publishing director Jackie Newcombe on Marie Claire."
Bushell added: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I am really looking forward to working with the South Bank team on such exciting and influential brands. I have very much enjoyed my time on Mizz, and within the Connect group, where I have worked for the last five years with some truly great people."
