Havas Worldwide brings some parity to Dos Equis' refreshed campaign
In September, Dos Equis introduced the rebooted version of The Most Interesting Man in the World, a younger, more active version of Jonathan Goldsmith, the septuagenarian who had embodied the character for a decade. The first full-length ad featuring his replacement, 41-year-old Augustin Legrand, debuted today. The 45-second spot from Havas Worldwide pairs the Man with a Woman, often his equal in his eclectic pursuits–though unlike him, she doesn’t speak. Dos Equis also amended one of the campaign’s signature taglines, from "Stay Thirsty, My Friends," to "Stay Thirsty, Mis Amigos."
