Independent News and Media has opted for the move in addition to previously announced plans to share back office functions, delivering costs savings to both groups.
It had previously been speculated that Associated Newspaper-owner, the Daily Mail and General Trust, might buy the Independent titles.
The Independent titles' editorial, commercial and management operations will remain separate from Associated and they will have their own office space.
Last week, Independent News & Media revealed a restructuring of its UK national titles that will reduce their 430 staff by 90 and save approximately £10m.
Ivan Fallon, chief executive of Independent News and Media, said: "This move will transform the prospects of the Independent titles. We will have immediate cost savings when we move offices and take maximum advantage of the resources and services offered to us by our partners at Associated to create better and more commercially viable newspapers while staying true to the editorial values we cherish."
Ian Hanson, operations director of Associated Newspapers, said: "We look forward to welcoming Independent News and Media (UK) to our offices in Kensington. The cost savings from a sharing of infrastructures will be beneficial to both organisations."
