
The deal will see both events brought under IMG’s operation. The management team and staff of PWR will continue their roles within the company’s events division.
The company would not diclose the financial details of the transaction.
PWR Events was awarded the contract to promote and manage
The procurement bolsters IMG’s summer and winter events portfolio, which also includes the Taste Festivals, and the Natural History Museum Ice Rink.
Stephen Flint Wood, senior vice president, managing director of arts and entertainment at IMG, said: "We are excited to bring PWR into the IMG family along with the management team that has done such a great job of making these popular events so successful. IMG itself was acquired by entertainment agency WME last year.
