Located in Hyde Park in London, Winter Wonderland will run for six weeks over the festive period. Activities on offer include a 1,600 metre-squared ice rink, sponsored by Lycamobile, a snow and ice sculpture area dubbed the Magical Ice Kingdom and a giant observation wheel.
More than 200 chalets will be selling a selection of gifts and crafts at the Angels Christmas & Yuletide Markets, while German-style Christmas treats such as bratwurst and mulled wine will be available at the Bavarian Village. Zippos Circus will also be performing two different shows – Zippos Christmas Circus for families and Cieque Berserk for older audience members.
Last year’s event drew in 2.5 million visitors over six weeks.
PWR Events was for the next three years in April. The agency originally launched Winter Wonderland in 2007.
