Ignition appoints John Teter as its new global creative director

Experiential agency Ignition has hired John Teter as its new global creative director.

Teter has experience of working with big name brands such as Kodak, Zoosk.com and Coca-Cola, and was the former vice president, creative director of OgilvyAction. 

He will be responsible for coming up with experiential activity and campaigns for Ignition’s clients including Yahoo!, Samsung, Victoria’s Secret and Harley Davidson. 

Cindy-Ann Hersom, Ignition’s chief marketing officer, said: "Experiential marketing is a vital player in the marketing mix revolution. It’s not about bolting on social media tactics. It’s about delivering mind-blowing experiences that consumers expect from massive brands."

Teter will be based in the company’s headquarters in Atlanta. Ignition has offices in London as well as Chicago, New York and Moscow, and is part of the Havas Sport & Entertainment network, which covers 35 offices in 20 countries.
