
Content marketing agency Seven46 has worked on the Rio 2016 bid for the Olympics and London’s winning bid to host the 2017 World Athletics Championships.
The strategic tie-up marks a further step in HS&E’s plans to strengthen its global sports offer in the run-up to the Olympics and the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
As reported in Event, parent company , saying it would add value to the network at "a very interesting time for brands in sports and entertainment".
Nick Varley, founder of Seven46, was a core team member on the final presentation of London’s successful 2012 Olympic bid. He has worked with senior government figures and will work on both bids and editorial content with HS&E.
Varley said Seven46 would now have its specialist agency work "with the additional backing and broad services of an extensive global network."
