IDM to hold creative showcase event in Newcastle

LONDON – The Institute of Direct Marketing is to run a members' evening event in Newcastle to reveal how agencies can mastermind and deliver creative concepts.

Local agencies Different and BJL will discuss the strategy, planning and execution behind IPA Effectiveness Award-winning campaigns such as Fisherman's Friend and NHS Smoking.

Marketing agency directors Ben Quigley from Different and Jane Clancey from BJL will discuss the actions that they took to ensure that the campaigns were successful and the audience will have the opportunity to quiz the speakers.

The session is also being seen as an opportunity to network with fellow marketers in the area and pick up hints and tips on how to make creative work harder.

Caroline Robertson, membership director at the IDM, said: "This will be a wonderful chance for anyone in the Newcastle area with an interest in direct marketing to gain a remarkable insight into what makes agencies tick when creating award-winning campaigns."

The event takes place in June 2 in Newcastle from 6pm. Further information can be accessed at
