Hiney joins from Rapier where he was business director in charge of the AA account. He also worked on the rebranding and launch of Marks & Spencer Money, the retailer's financial services arm; the AXA Life and Investment business; and Halifax Card Services' acquisition and retention programmes.
HTW was appointed by M&G in autumn 2001 to help it reposition and relaunch the brand. The subsequent brand response campaign won a number of awards including a Silver at last year's Cannes Lions.
Prior to joining Rapier in October 2001, Hiney was managing partner of marketing programmes at Modem Media. He has also been a board director at Tequila Payne Stracey in the past.
